Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

In today’s society, there’s a saying that many of us have adapted to: “FAKE IT til you make it!” The dictionary describes the word fake as “to trick, deceive, or conceal.”  Whenever something is being falsified, it’s being covered up from the state of naked truth that it’s supposed to be in.  Many of us tend to put on in front of others who are around us, whether it’s people on our jobs or at the church, that we have it all together.  The money is flowing, the family is together, and life is just perfect.  God never said that life will be easy.  If life was always perfect without a struggle, we wouldn’t have a need to pray and call upon His name.  There will always be obstacles and challenges that come our way in order for us to continue in diligently seeking Him.  The longer we live in denial about our problems, the more it’ll eat away at us.  But why do we continue to cover up our hard times in order to “look good” in front of others? The answer to this question is we constantly worry about what others think.  God is readily available and able to help you get through the storm, but He can’t bring us to the breakthrough because of our PRIDE.  Too much of us stand in the way of our destiny! There comes a time when we must realize that some problems can’t be fixed on our own.   God wants us to give every single care to Him because through our victory, He will get the glory.

Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Even though you are still going through the storm, begin to speak victory over your life!  It’s one thing to have faith, but it’s another to exercise it.  If you are believing God for a financial breakthrough, GIVE! Honor the Lord with your first fruits, tithes and offerings, sow good seeds into people and let go of the careless financial mistakes that put you in the bind in the first place.  If you are praying to God for a spouse, prepare and position yourself.  Ask God to remove all selfishness and unforgiveness, and replace with patience, gentleness, and unconditional love.  If you’re trusting God to deliver you from depression or any other addiction, first things first, acknowledge that you have a problem.  Oftentimes we feel as if we need to consult with individuals who aren’t going through anything for help and for that extra push to victory.  One of the best ways of getting delivered is pairing up with someone who is going through some of the same issues like you and pray, encourage, and minister to each other that there is indeed a way out!  God loves each and every one of us more than we could ever know.  As of this moment, repent of your pride, run to God for help, and in due time, He will bring you out. And no matter how long the process may take, don’t EVER, EVER, EVER GIVE UP.  You’re stronger than you think!

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:  “Faking it” may conceal the issue, but it will always be there. But when you “faith it,” the truth and the anointing breaks the traps of the enemy and brings forth deliverance.
