“Victorious During Challenging Times”

“Victorious During Challenging Times”
Bishop Daniel Robertson, Jr.
Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International

If you’re going to prosper the way God wants you to prosper and live in the realm of abundance, you must think only abundance, believe only abundance, and speak only abundance. In other words you must let no thought of limitation enter your mind from this moment forward. -Dr. Leroy Thompson

This is a pretty powerful quote.  As we all know, the mind is a powerful thing.  It’s just like the saying, “We think, therefore we are.”  Several things influence our thoughts:  our emotions, our experiences, and our friends.  That’s why my Pastor says we must carefully choose who we hang around.  Don’t be around folks who think normal… but surround yourself wih those who think supernaturally. When things get difficult, we must dig into our spirit to capture some things and then go back into this natural world to carry it out.  Don’t let the thought of limitation come into your mind.   We cannot assume that things are not going to work because God doesn’t lie.  It says in his Word he will supply all of our needs!!

Romans 10:17 (NIV)
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Psalms 92:12-15 (NIV)
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.  They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Something to think about: We must plant ourselves in the right environment.  This starts with getting connected to the right church.  When you move to a new city, make this a priority.  A church should challenge you about holiness, and not offer just surface preaching.  We all need a Pastor who will preach the true word.  What you believe is what you’ll receive.

As usual, your thoughts give me plenty to think about.
    Thanks again for the word.
