If you were to ask anyone what time we are living in, the most popular answer would be “a recession.” It seems like every time we turn on the news, economists have the latest reports on job layoffs, foreclosures, bankruptcies, etc. God never intended for us to participate in this recession. He came so that we could have life, and have it more abundantly!

Mark 4:26-27

26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.”

It is God’s desire for us to invest in His kingdom. Each time you sow a seed into good ground, you are guaranteed to reap a harvest! Matthew 6:33 tells us to “seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” When you make up your mind to push God’s Will and Kingdom, He will get into position and move on your behalf like never before!

Isaiah 10:27

27 In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from their neck; the yoke shall be destroyed by reason of fatness.

With the decline of the stock market and economy hanging in the balance, this is the perfect time for God to show the world that He is God! All He wants is for someone who is willing and able to trust Him. We have to change the way that we think. The job of the enemy is to paralyze our faith and question if God is who He says He is. The moment we start looking to God as our provider and not man, that’s when He can do exceedingly, abundantly, and above all we could ever ask, imagine or think!

Something to think about: Let Him be God. Don’t ever try to get God in the position that He can’t move and flow the way He wants to in your life. Once we do the possible, God can do the IMPOSSIBLE! When He blesses you beyond measure, never take credit for anything you did. ALL glory belongs to Him!
