“Trust God”

“Trust God”

A fear of the unknown can sometimes make it hard and scary for us to have full trust in God like we want and should have.  Having faith in Him plays a MAJOR part in being able to trust God in every aspect of OUR own personal lives.  We cannot have the same “vision/concept” of God that anyone else has.  Meaning: Everyone’s view of God’s ability will not be the same, because everyone’s level of faith is not the same.  God will only be as big as we chose to see Him. Meaning:  We cannot expect God to move a mountain in our lives if we don’t believe he can move a rock.  It’s all about trusting God to do the impossible.  The following scriptures describe a lack of trust in God and God explaining the life you will have when you place your trust in Him (v13).

Isaiah 57:10-13
10 You are wearied in the length of your way; Yet you did not say, ‘There is no hope.’ You have found the life of your hand; therefore you were not grieved. 11 “And of whom have you been afraid, or feared, that you have lied and not remembered Me, Nor taken it to your heart? Is it not because I have held My peace from of old That you do not fear Me? 12 I will declare your righteousness and your works, For they will not profit you. 13 When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you. But the wind will carry them all away, A breath will take them. But he who puts his trust in Me shall possess the land, And shall inherit My holy mountain.”

Something to think about: Remember that God is as big as we choose to see Him.  No matter how hard life gets, we must trust God to do the unthinkable, unpredictable, and the impossible.  Be Blessed blog readers!!!

  1. Alyssa…I trust God but never thought of it as you put it, “God is as big as we choose to see Him”. Some of our prayers are not answered because we have doubts or just sort of wonder if the answer is possible.

Thanks, as always, for the wonderful job you and Amie do with WNS. Look forward to your spiritual writings.

  2. Thank you for your reply Mrs. McLain. I’m glad that this message touched your heart just as much as it touched mine. I was blown away when I received this word. I never knew that I have been unconsciously placing a limit on what God can do in my life because I let doubt overshadow having faith.

Thanks so much for your support of WNS!!! God Bless :)
