“The Spirit Realm”

“The Spirit Realm”

In order to fully understand the spirit realm, you have to get closer to God.  Why is the spirit realm important?  Because, it’s the key to solving problems in the natural realm we live in.  When you tune in to the Lord’s voice, He allows you to accurately pin point  solutions.  When you try to solve issues on your own, it’s wasted time and energy. The apostle, Paul, explains this concept through an analogy of running a race:

1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NIV)
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?  Run in such a way as to get the prize.  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.  Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.  No, I beat my body and make it a slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Do you know we all have personal angels?!  The Bible says they are ministering spirits, ready to work on your behalf.  Are you using yours?  The scriptures say only one third of the angels left heaven to follow Satan (These fallen angels are called demons).  That means there are twice as many angels for every demon… SO the good outnumbers the bad in the spirit realm.

In order to defeat demonic spirits, we need the power of the Holy Spirit.  This means we have to pray in the Holy Ghost (speak in tongues) on a consistent basis.  We can’t be satisfied with the status quo.  We have to wreck Satan’s kingdom.  We have to be better and sharper in the Spirit in order to be victorious.  We must be sharp-shooters!  The best sharp-shooters can target someone 3 football fields away and hit the mark.

Ephesians 6:10-12 (NIV)
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Something to think about: We can’t be afraid of the enemy.  Fear will prevent us from defeating the kingdom of darkness.  Every time you feel afraid, say a prayer and call out the name of Jesus — there’s power in His name.
