Loving God with every being in your body is very important to Him.  “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”  ~Deuteronomy 6:5.  This is the first and greatest commandment of God; He values our love for Him the most.

Instructions on Prayer (Luke 11:1-4 NIV; NKJV)
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”  He said to them, “When you pray, say:
      Our Father in heaven,
      Hallowed be Your name.
      Your kingdom come.
      Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
      And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.”

Jesus had just finished praying and felt it was extremely important to teach His disciples how to pray.  Prayer can simply be defined as talking to God.  Jesus taught each one of His disciplines to pray to God so that they could be able to talk to Him as well.  Praying gives you the unlimited access to tell God “you love Him” whenever you desire.

Something to think about:  Praying is easy as 1, 2, 3!!!  Try to devote your time each day to finding a “quiet place” to meet and talk to the Lord.  Use this time to tell the Lord how much you love Him and all that He has and will do in your life.  Become real intimate with God, taking the time truly talk to Him about whatever’s on your heart, BUT also taking the time to listen to what He has to tell you as well.
