“Have Faith in God” Part III

Have Faith in God (Part III)

Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

* It’s not necessary to figure out how the Lord will work everything out, just know that He will do it.  It hinders God when you try to help him do what He said He would do.  It bothers God when you don’t have faith in Him.

* Most people want to see you fail.  They want you to be less than what they are.  That’s why we should only be concerned about pleasing God.  Don’t worry about who likes you as long as God has your back!

* When you have faith in Him, it releases His ability to do wonderful things in your life.  He just wants the glory.  God raises up those who are hungry for Him.

James 4:10 (NIV)
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.

The secret to living your life to the fullest is to have a personal relationship with Jesus!   And when you have faith in God, it helps your children to have faith in God.  Abraham is an example of someone who had incredible faith in God.  So much so that even when God told him to offer up his only son as a sacrifice, Abraham was willing to do it because he knew the Lord would work something out (like bring Isaac back to life if killed).

Hebrews 11:11 (NIV)
By faith Abraham, even though he was past age – and Sarah herself was barren – was enabled to become a father because he considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Something to think about:  Be encouraged and know that God is going to move in your life.  Go ahead and thank Him in advance!  Praise and worship Him for who He is!
