“Now Faith”

“Now Faith”

Too often we take faith out of the now and we push it in the future.  (ex.  I will be healed one day.  God will bless me next month…)  Why are we putting our faith on hold? Keep your faith in the now! We must remember there are 2 worlds we operate in as Christians: the natural and the spirit. Whatever you ask God for is already done in the spirit when you make that desire known to Him.  But, in order to see it in the natural, you have to believe it is already done.
Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV)
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  This is what the ancients were commanded for.  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

The word, “now” means “at present” or “at this moment.” Here are a few examples of  ”now” being stressed in scriptures:

Matthew 3:15, Matthew 26:53, John 9:19John 2:10

Matthew 8:1-3 (NIV) The Man With Leprosy
When he came down from the mountain-side, large crowds followed him.  A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”  Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man.  ”I am willing,” he said.  ”Be clean!” Immediately he was cured of his leprosy.

Watch the words you speak.  Unknowingly, we often hurt ourselves with our own words.  Yes, your mouth can be a crime scene!  Negative words over a period of time will cause your dreams, your blessings, and your future to die. We speak negativity (ex. I’m broke, no one likes me, I’ll never find a job…) and wonder why things never work out.  But, words carry power and energy. We are speaking spirits just like God.  Our job is to pray and let God handle the rest.

Something to think about:  As Christians, we are supposed to live by faith.  We are the salt of the earth, so let’s season it up a little bit!  Let your faith inspire others to have faith and watch God show just how awesome He is!
