*Learn how to rule your spirit.

The higher you go in Christ (and in life), the calmer you have to be. You can’t panic and flow in God’s anointing at the same time.

*The devil is a bully, but he’s already been defeated.

God won’t let you deal with something that you can’t overcome!  That’s good news.  The more things you have stacked against you, the more God will do for you.  Take this scripture as an example (the King of Aram sends an army to kill and destroy Elisha, the prophet.  Elisha’s servant becomes afraid, but see how Elisha responds):

2 Kings 6:13-17

“Go, find out where he is,” the king ordered, “so I can send men and capture him.” The report came back: “He is in Dothan.” Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there.  They went by night and surrounded the city.  When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh, my Lord, what shall we do?” the servant asked.  “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

* Stay calm and know that God has it all under control.

You’re in His hands (sigh).  What a relief!  By staying calm in the midst of problems, people will realize there is something supernatural going on inside of you.  Jesus lives inside of us, yet we panic when trouble comes around.  Stop reacting to what you see and start going by what you know.  That means going by your spirit rather than your emotions.  The Holy Ghost is there to assist you.  It blesses God when you behave like you know Him!  So thank the Lord in advance for the problems he’s solving on your behalf.

Something to think about:  We have a mission to edify the kingdom of God, which brings damage to the kingdom or darkness.  That means we’re going to have to deal with attacks from the enemy.  It’s a given.  But, don’t waste time feeling sorry for yourself.  We have to understand that there will be opposition because we are a threat to the enemy.  BUT through the power of Jesus Christ, we all have the potential to speak to a situation and turn it around!
