“Let the Money Flow”

We spend too much time worrying about how we are going to pay bills, even though God said He will supply all of our needs. Every dollar bill says, “In God we trust” so trust God to pay your bills. The same way he can pay a $15 bill is the same way he can pay a $1,500 bill.  He just makes it happen – don’t try to figure out “how” He’s going to do it. That’s what the enemy wants you to worry about.

Matthew 25:24-25
Then the man who had received the one talent came. “Master,” he said “I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. So I was afraid and went out and hid your talent in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.”

Your place of employment provides the seed, but it is God who takes care of you. Just like you bring God your tithes and offerings, start bringing God your bills.

Don’t use the word “spending,” instead say I’m “circulating” money. For example, somebody gets blessed when you buy a pair of shoes. That helps the salesperson earn a paycheck. Then the salesperson can buy their children shoes. Start approaching situations as “I can be a blessing.” Be a blessing first and you will be blessed.

Your attitude toward money can affect your flow. Before you have a lot of money, learn how to use it. Learn how to dream where you are.  When the Lord gives us a promise we act like we can’t hear. Is He talking to me? Is He really going to come through for me? Your mindset has a lot to do with your finances.

Something to think about: You can’t be afraid of money. Fear and money don’t mix. Fear will shut down God’s process. Every time fear comes around, remember that money comes to those who trust God no matter what.
