The message focuses around Jeremiah 1:4-10 in which God talks to Jeremiah about how He created us. The Lord has placed something unique inside all of us. Do you know what it is? What is God saying to you in your quiet time?

Jeremiah 1:4-5 (NIV)
The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

God knows what he has placed in you, so don’t doubt your gifts. Be willing to put aside your fear and do what God has called you to do. Are you willing to serve the Lord? Are you willing to put the devil on high alert? Make him say, “Uh oh!” when you wake up every day.

Jeremiah 1:8 (NIV)
“Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

In spite of what others say about you, still listen to God. Continue to walk in your calling. Everybody born into this world has a divine purpose!

Jeremiah 1:10 (NIV)
“See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

This scripture says we may have to re-work some things around us. Be ready! When God shifts, you need to shift. When God is ready to take you to a new place, you need to be ready to move. We were created to serve the Almighty. Most people consider a servant to be low-class, but there is nothing lowly about serving God!

Psalm 25:10 (NIV)
All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful for those who keep the demands of his covenant.

When you stay connected to God, he will give you peace through every storm. Are you tapping into His presence?

Something to think about: The word of God is already in you, but you have to have a desire to see God’s face. Be hungry for His presence. Go forth and don’t walk in fear. Get ready, set, go!!!

  1. Thanks for the alert. We must be ready at all times, even if we must shift or move. Some of us may feel we are too young or too old, but the Lord’s timimg is always right.
    So…ready, set, go!!!
