“Self Esteem”

“Self-Esteem”

How do you see yourself? Are you trying to be who people want you to be?  Other people may not like you, but they can’t deny that you have something inside of you that’s rare. When you’re called by God, your gift will bring you to the top!

Hebrews 10:35-36 (NIV)
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

A lot of us don’t think we have what it takes to accomplish God’s will for our lives. But, you can’t look at where you are because we are all a work in progress. The Lord builds our confidence over time… and our personal testimonies build faith.

It’s one thing to know WHAT you have, but it’s another thing to know HOW and WHEN to use what you have! God has given us specific weapons to handle the battles we will fight.

We must know we’re blessed. The devil tells us it’s arrogance, but God says it’s confidence. You have to know that God has placed you where you are for a reason. Just make sure you always give God the glory!

Self esteem -> Confidence -> Faith

Self esteem sets the foundation for confidence and confidence builds faith. If you don’t have self esteem, than you can’t have confidence. Don’t pray over someone if you don’t believe God can help them. God can’t use us if we’re intimidated by others. Our faith provokes God to move. As humans we sometimes develop doubts. It happened to John the Baptist, who was sent to pave the way for Jesus Christ.

Luke 7:20 (NIV)
“When the men came to Jesus, they said, ‘John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?’”

With Jesus, there is no need to doubt or worry. In Him, all things are possible.

Something to think about: It’s okay to be humble and crazy! Be humble enough to know that the Lord has given you a special anointing or gift, but be crazy enough to release it for God’s glory!
